Concepts!

After discussing any possible ideas, I mentioned the possibility of doing something involving candy. I thought it would be a great idea since it is cheap, and an item that we can share amongst ourselves without worrying about it becoming damaged or lost. Everyone seemed to agree with this idea, and to narrow our concepts I searched for a random candy item that I thought could be an interesting item for a vessel. Sour-patch kids seemed like a fun idea!

CONCEPTS

Here I wanted to experiment with a simple design. It resembles a noodle.

I really liked the idea of adding a base to my design. Here I explored that.

These three were my first few designs. I explored the "twist", "bend", and "taper" tool thoroughly. I feel as though I have had a breakthrough with these in regards to my comfortability with Rhino8. Now I feel like I can be more explorative.

For this assignment my aim was to create a floating castle.

I did find it quite challenging to navigate some of the new tools we learned last class, but despite my setbacks I enjoyed familiarizing myself further with Rhino 8. As someone who have never attempted to create digital 3d models, I am so far having a blast.

Voxel Model

Unlike some people, I didn't have a very extravagant summer. My family didn't go one vacation, so I spent most of my time working. What I would use to describe my summer is my best friend, and dog Honey. Everyday, Id come home from work and spend a great deal of my day just relaxing and spending time with my dog. Now that I am 6 hours away from home, from my dog, I can certainly conclude that a 3D voxel of my dog would best represent my summer, as they were the most memorable moments during those few months.
